Meditation, The King Of All Spiritual Practices

The importance of meditation can never be estimated less than the importance of breathing. Meditation is the outlook of reality. Meditation is the single practice which can help us more than thousand other practices taken together. Meditation should be done daily in the morning around four o'clock for almost an hour. The practitioner should maintain fine internal and external purity. The practitioner should sit in the most comfortable posture with back straight and eyes gently closed. The body should be kept relaxed. During the course of meditation, complete inactivity should be maintained but with keen observation on thoughts and experiences. Meditation is less doing than observing. The quality of meditation can be enhanced by gaining spiritual knowledge on daily basis. This is the simplest and most effective method of meditation.
